SHIFT INFORMATION

ATTENTION ALL EXITERS

to sign up for shifts send your request to: exodus@burningman.com
SET UP

Set up will start on Friday (day before the burn) at noon and should last a few hours. Meet at the Greeters Station. We will continue set up on Saturday (burn day) at noon and go until we are done. This should be plenty of time to finish well before the burn. In the case that we can't finish, we will continue after the burn. The more help we have the better the chance that this will not be the case. We need to set up at this eleventh hour because this is when people stop coming into the city.

SHIFTS: Sunday and Monday:

Please be at Greeter’s Station 15 minutes before your shift starts prepared to do 5 hours in the sun. (plenty of water, sunscreen etc.)

A WORD ON SHIFTS.

In previous years we had a problem with people showing up for their shifts. Besides this being unfair to the people who do show up, as they now have to work harder to cover more areas, having Exodus short-staffed compromises our permits and our reputation with the outside agencies. This is especially true when it comes to flaggers. We know that the end of the event is a hard time for many reasons for people to volunteer and to show up, and we really really appreciate all of you who do, so we ask that you be aware of this as you sign up for your shifts.

Thank you all so much for volunteering your time with this tough job. We hope you all to know how much Burning Man Staff and all of the BRCitizens appreciate what you do!
